Many WA Employers are focusing on the recruitment catchment area of Darwin and conversely NT employers are winning business in WA. This has in turn created problems for Mine's Health Surveillance Assessments required by the Mines in WA prior to a person working on a mine site.

Until now, Mine's Health Surveillance Assessments were completed partly in NT and the final part of the Assessment when the candidate arrived in WA.
